About the event
The theme of the 15th BRAZ-TESOL International Conference is “The learners’ voice: creating a participatory culture”. This theme will allow ELT professionals from within Brazil and guests from abroad to reflect on the importance of looking at our area of expertise from the perspective of a field which has matured over the years and has consolidated pedagogical and professional practices, but which is also in tune with the latest developments in education and is aware of the demands which the 21st century has imposed upon learners and teachers.

The conference will propose new and exciting formats to foster four days of intense learning exchanges between participants and rich networking possibilities for all present at the event.

2016 is a landmark year for BRAZ-TESOL. We celebrate 30 years of existence. No better place to hold a conference than in a symbolic city, Brasília, with all its important social and political landmarks.

We hope you can all join us in making the 15th BRAZ-TESOL International Conference a landmark event in the ELT calendar in Brazil.
