Candy Palma


Marcello is a PhD in linguistics (UNICAMP), an MA in Applied Linguistics and a BA in English Language and Literature (PUC-SP). He is an English Professor at Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), where he teaches and does research on English Linguistics, with focus on the role of UG in Interlanguage systems, L1/L2 comparative studies, L2 acquisition and Bilingualism.

He has published articles in the area and co-authored the book English Pronunciation for Brazilians. He is a co-leader of the CNPq research group InFoLinC (Investigações (In)Formais em Linguagem e Cognição) and a member of the CNPq research group Minimalismo e Teoria da Gramática.
