Very Important Information – Read Carefully
Dear Conference Participant,
Welcome to the 12th BRAZ-TESOL National Convention! We are very happy that you will be joining us at what promises to be a very exciting event. We are confident that you will profit from the outstanding academic program, while enjoying the beautiful facilities of Escola Beit Yaacov (EBY), our host site.
We are writing to you because there are very important details you must know about before the event actually starts, so we ask you to read this text very carefully.
- Conference Credentials: The security at the venue meets the highest professional standards. In keeping with the safety procedures at EBY, all participants will be issued credentials before the event starts. For this reason, we ask that you go to the conference site http://www.braztesol.org.br/convencao/Credenciamento , conference registration number (which was e-mailed to you), or inform that you are an exhibitor*, provide your I.D.: RG, RNE or passport number – whichever you will be carrying. (We need this information to ensure that your credentials are ready when you arrive at the convention site.).
Note: No one will enter the premises without being identified beforehand. Exhibitors should provide us names and I.D.s of everyone who could possibly be working at/or setting up the booths, even those who will only be taking things into the EBY. If you are in doubt, send us all the names and IDs of employees and people who work with you.
On the day that you first arrive at EBY, you will have to show your ID to security personnel who will check to see if your name is on the list before allowing you to enter. This will take a bit of time, so we urge you to arrive at the site early on Monday afternoon so you won’t miss the opening! If you are only going to arrive on Tuesday morning for the 8:30 plenary, make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes before the first scheduled event because if many participants arrive at the same time this verification will take time. The EBY gates will be open as of 7 a.m.
If your name is not on the conference participant list, someone from the BTNC registration inside the building will have to be called by security to come outside to make sure you are registered and duly identified before you are allowed onto the premises. This will delay the entry process and cause unnecessary backup of people or cars: this is precisely what we would like to avoid. Slow entry will also complicate on-site registration.
After you get your conference badge with the EBY security seal, you will only have to present it at the security gate at entrance of the premises for the rest of the convention. From then on, there should be no delays at the entrance gate.

Temos certeza de que você aproveitará o máximo da excelente programação acadêmica, enquanto desfruta do agradável ambiente da Escola Beit Yaacov, que esta acolhendo o evento.
Estamos lhe escrevendo porque existem detalhes muito importantes dos quais vocês deve ficar ciente antes que o evento se inicie, e por isso pedimos que leia este texto com muito cuidado.
- Credenciamento para Conferência: A segurança no local tem os mais altos padrões profissionais. E consoante com os procedimentos de segurança da EBY, todos participantes receberão credenciais antes do inicio do evento. Por esta razão, pedimos que vá ao site da convenção: http://www.braztesol.org.br/convencao/Credenciamento, e informe seu nome, numero de inscrição (enviado por e-mail aos participantes) ou indique que é expositor*, forneça o número de sua identificação (RG, RNE, Passaporte) o que você estará carregando. (Precisamos desta informação para assegurar que suas credenciais estarão prontas quando você chegar ao local da convenção)
Nota: Ninguém poderá entrar na EBY sem ter sido previamente identificado (a). Exibidores terão que nos fornecer os nome e identificação de todos que irão trabalhar nos estandes – na montagem e durante o evento. Se estiver em duvida de que irá, por favor, nos mande os nomes de todos que trabalham com você.
No primeiro dia que você chegar à EBY, você terá que mostrar sua identidade, e o segurança verificará se seu nome esta na lista antes de permitir sua entrada. Isto leva tempo, e por isso insistimos na importância de chegar mais cedo no local na 2ª feira à tarde, para que o processo não lhe faça atrasar para a abertura. Se você planeja chegar na só na 3ª feira pela manhã, para a plenária das 8h30, chegue pelo menos com 30 minutos de antecedência, para evitar demoras devido a um grande numero de participantes chagando ao mesmo tempo. Os portões da EBY estarão abertos desde as 7h00.
Se o seu nome não estiver na lista de participantes ou de expositores, o pessoal da segurança terá que ligar para a secretaria de BTNC dentro do prédio para verificar se você está inscrito antes de permitir sua entrada. Isto irá causar mais demora no processo, aumentando filas de gente e carros: é isto precisamente que queremos evitar. O processo de credenciamento dificulta o processo de inscrições no local.
Depois que você estiver com seu crachá da conferencia com o selo da segurança do EBY, bastará mostra-lo na entrada durante o resto da convenção. Daí em diante não haverá demora na entrada.
